To everyone who likes wearing make-up, you know how problematic it is to complete your make-up collection and of course, these products expire. It is common knowledge that make-up are expensive little things but some people just can't get enough of it.
Trying cheap products sometimes irritates your skin because of the raw chemicals that they used and also, some of it are are not really in good quality. So, for those people who's just starting to practice or you're building your collection but is in a tight budget, I made a list of Affordable brands but will give you Z E R O regrets:
1. Chihuahua Cosmetics

I have encountered their products when I spontaneously attended Cosmopolitan Beauty Block last August 2018 and if I just had money on me that time, I would have bought all their products! But I did buy a lipstick in the shade of 'New Wave' which is my current favorite and I wear it every time I go out of the house. Chihuahua Cosmetics is a newly established make-up brand in the Philippines but it already has eight stores around NCR! As of now, they have a limited selection of make-up but they have the essentials such as: lipsticks, eyeliners, and foundation so, for the beginners out there you're all set! They also live up to their tagline:
"Sized right, Priced Right"
Their products are small and very easy to carry around not just that, the quality of the products is just TOO GOOD! It's smooth, very pigmented and also, long lasting. It also does not have that weird smell like most cheap make-up brands have. The price of their products ranges from Php 129.00 to Php 300.00.
2. Ever Bilena

Okay, maybe every teenage girls in the Philippines have encountered these products already since this is where beauty begins (wink) but for me, Ever Bilena is classic. It's been around since 1983 and they keep enhancing their products. As a Filipino brand, they cater skin tones that are not usually found in international brands.
I do admit that before I thought that they don't really give quality products but when I was badly in need of makeup but I don't have a set budget for it, I tried them out and wow, I ate my own words. One of my favorites: Automatic Eyeliner which only costs Php 180.00 and their liquid foundation in almond shade which just costs around Php 160.00. Also, Kris Aquino have collaborated with Ever Bilena in manufacturing lippies and it has received a lot of good reviews and is became a trend among Filipino women.
3. Nichido

Based on my internet findings, Nichido is a local brand which uses natural products and is recommended for those people who have sensitive skin. Nichido is mostly found in drugstores and in the cosmetic section of department stores. They provide customers affordable but quality-products having a price range of Php 75 to Php 800 depending on the items you buy. Also, they have a lot of sales and promos so, if you're lucky you can buy the basics under 500 pesos. A lot of Filipina beauty vloggers/bloggers/guru have given positive reviews about this brand and most of them also, included Nichido as one of their favorite local make-up brand for its quality. I do recommend their 24 Hr Tattoo Effect Eyeliner Pen because it is perfect for beginners and for those who are like me who can't even draw a straight line and a winged eyeliner, this is the answer. I swear to you! It is very easy to use, pigmented and it does not smudge easily. Also, try their setting spray; it is lightweight and keeps your make-up on for hours.
4. Luna Organics

Another treasure found in Cosmopolitan Beauty Block! Luna Organics is an online-based make-up brand that sells clay blush, mousse blush, lip scrub, lip balm, setting powder, and translucent powder with their own added twist on it. It is a popular brand and is known for their clay blush that can also be used as eyeshadow. Their products are modern and innovative that would truly peak your interest. No wonder why they are growing fast and have started branching out.
I recommend all their products. AMEN.
5. Ushas Cosmetics

Ushas cosmetics is an Indian have started to expand internationally and I found this brand through beautymnl.com when I was trying to find a cheap contouring make-up and fortunately, their 3-in-1 Face Sculptor is on sale so I took my chance and I was not disappointed in the very least. The product is very pigmented but it does have a lot of fall-out when you apply it but nonetheless, the results are amazing and my skin did not react against it. This brand is very effective, affordable and perfect for your sensitive skin but beware of the pirated products and I do recommend that when buying this, buy it through beautymnl just to be sure.
I hope you like my recommendations. Feel free to comment or message me for your insights.
